ABOUT TalkBLACK

We have been Atlanta's premier discussion group for African-American professionals since 2003.

  • TalkBLACK has been featured on V-103 and WAOK radio and in Atlanta-Journal Constitution, The Crisis and Rolling Out.
  • Our mission is to promote positive change and informed understanding within the African-American community through monthly forums that allow individuals from diverse backgrounds and perspectives to explore the critical issues facing our community.

  • Our meetings are presided over by a moderator and panelists are invited to share their perspective, but interactive discussion is encouraged.

  • We also ask that you arrive early enough to make your purchase and get involved in the discussion from the beginning so as not to disrupt the panelists or others in attendance

  • Our membership is co-ed, hails from a variety of backgrounds and has ranged in age from 21 to 60 plus.
  • Anyone open to listening to and discussing issues from an informed African-American perspective is invited to join us.
  • We only ask that you be willing to hear a variety of perspectives and respectful to others involved in the discussion. If you only want to listen, that's okay too.

Feel free to peruse our website to learn more about us. We look forward to welcoming you into our organization.
